Increase Battery backup in Linux...

We all know Linux, the most powerful operating system, has a disadvantage while using it in laptops.. It only offers low battery back up at normal conditions. Now arise the question? How to increase in battery backup in Linux?
As a normal user my advice is install Bumble bee..  yes the transformers hero..
Bumblebee, a project aiming to support NVIDIA Optimus technology under Linux
at normal conditions it provides a quite fantastic battery backup (more than windows), but aome times it is more difficult to configure the software
Try it spread the feature of bumble bee

the only need is the system should be connected to the internet

well installing bumble bee in Ubuntu is quite simple. Ensure that the system is connected to the internet first, then follow the commands.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bumblebee/stable

If you are on Ubuntu 11.04 or older and want newer drivers (recommended) than the ones available in the official repos, run:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
sudo apt-get update
